Amos Njuguna is the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Research and Extension at United States International University – Africa (USIU-A). He has a background in financial economics and over 15 years of experience working on financial products, savings behavior, and financial systems in both the public and private sectors. He is also the Chair of the Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa that is advancing work on decision focused evaluations of social and development programs. His research has impacted on policy outcomes in the Kenyan retirement benefits industry, insurance industry and public governance. Amos is an EASST fellow and a passionate ambassador for institutionalization of impact evaluations and transparency in conduct of research.
